South East Childcare has been established to provide quality childcare to a wide range of organisations structured for both privately owned and community run group settings along with private family homes. We offer both qualified and well experienced :

Our staff are efficient, professional childcare workers who have a wide range of training and have worked in a number of settings. We work with several other organisations who lend their expertise to our recruitment process. We offer our understanding and knowledge of the childcare market ensuring information is offered on employment regulations and salary structure.

The Childcare Roles

Nanny

A Nanny generally has sole charge of the children in their care and works within the family home, usually while the parents are working. A nanny is a particularly useful childcare option for parents who require flexible childcare cover. A nanny will provide one-to-one care within a safe, secure and loving environment giving a wide range of child centered activities. This will encourage and develop the child’s physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs to enable the child to reach their full potential. The Nanny is expected to carry out all nursery duties and all aspects of the children’s care. A Nanny holds a level three qualification in working with young children. A South East Childcare nanny, full time, costs between £300 and £350, a live-in, costs between £200 and £250, part time, costs between £150 and £200, net per week, plus agency fee.

Mothers’ Help

A mothers’ help is usually an unqualified extra pair of hands who works alongside a parent within the family home. They are expected to carry out some childcare and light household duties. A Mothers’ help is not expected to take sole responsibility of the children and is employed simply to help, guide and support the family. A South East Childcare mothers’ help, full time, costs between £200 and £250, a live-in, costs between £150 and £200, part time, costs between £100 and £150 net per week, plus agency fee.

Babysitter

A babysitter is often a Nanny or Nursery Nurse working in the Childcare sector on a full time basis who is available to work extra hours essentially at weekends or evenings.  South East Childcare babysitters cost £7.00 an hour before midnight, £8.00 after midnight, plus agency fee.

 Maternity Nanny

This is a Nursery Nurse with a CACHE, BTEC or NAMCW qualification or a Registered Nurse, Midwife or well experienced childcarer. They are usually employed for four to eight weeks living as part of the family for six days of the week. Their main role is to give constant support to the mother on her return home from hospital after the birth of a new baby. Salaries range from £500 net upwards, plus agency fee.

Babysitting service

South East Childcare offers the flexibility of a babysitting service. Should you need a night out to enjoy yourself or need to work late, we can help. We have a large bank of qualified Nannies and Nursery Nurses who are professional childcare’s working with children on a daily basis available to help you. Our service includes weekday evening, weekends both within the daytime or evenings.

Special Events & Party Planning

Mobile Crèches with fully qualified nannies can also be arranged for weddings, parties, christenings, birthdays etc. All areas covered.  Childcare cover for special events is also available, please ask our recruitment consultants for more information.
